Bolton Town Centre is rising to the challenge posed by changing shopping habits with a comprehensive £1bn regeneration masterplan.

A quality retail offer is being consolidated around the outstanding Market Place, while new residential opportunities are being created at Moor Lane, Deansgate Gardens, Church Wharf and Trinity Quarter.

Meanwhile, the flagship redevelopment of Crompton Place is set to attract further private sector investment.

Education

NorthFold has a strong educational offer, with existing higher and further education facilities and the potential to support skills and training across a range of growth sectors, including food and health innovation.

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Wigan and Leigh College’s Centre of Excellence in Health and Social Care.

The Royal Bolton Hospital.

The new Institute of Medical Sciences, a collaborative project between the University of Bolton, Bolton College, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton Council.
